Keepers
"It just amused me. The idea of making them look. Getting them to see what I see."
Georgia O'Keeffe.
I take photos with my phone of anything and everything mundane in my everyday life. I take a ton of pictures because I want to remember. I am terrified of loss. The ever-changing nature of technology is also scary: everything that I collect might become obsolete.
So I try to transpose moments in paintings. To keep the impermanent.
